In 2020, Drenusha Salihu founded Women4Cyber Kosovo, becoming the first organization in the country solely focused on empowering women in cybersecurity. Driven by a vision to break gender barriers in a traditionally male-dominated field, Drenusha launched the NGO under the umbrella of the Women4Cyber Foundation.

What began as a bold idea quickly grew into a national movement, creating opportunities for education, mentorship, and leadership for women and girls in cybersecurity. Through community building, capacity development, and international collaboration, Women4Cyber Kosovo is reshaping the country’s digital futureon, e empowered woman at a time.
